Key trends in industrial manufacturing will be Infor’s focus in KSA summits

At special events in Khobar on November 8 and Riyadh on November 9, the industry cloud giant Infor will share insights on trends, challenges, and the need for ongoing innovation in Saudi Arabia’s industrial production and distribution sectors.

Experts including Kerry Koutsikos, VP & GM, MEA Infor, Harish Dunakhe, Senior Director Research, IDC, Ahmed Tayel, Sales Manager, AWS, and Khaled AlShami, VP Solution Consulting, Infor will share insights through keynotes and panel discussions at the events.

The discussions will be on topics like the importance for companies to adopt cloud-based automation, master software platforms, get a real-time view of the extended supply chain, and embrace agility to prosper in Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding industrial manufacturing and distribution industries.

A study from QuantAlign Research revealed that Saudi Arabia’s cloud market is anticipated to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 35.5% between 2021 and 2030 to reach a value of $10.5 billion in 2030. According to a recent IDC survey, 72% of Saudi organisations cited the cloud as being fundamental to driving innovation and digital transformation in their businesses. The government of Saudi Arabia is supporting digitization initiatives as part of its ambitions for diversification under Saudi Vision 2030.

AutoWorld, a division of SEDCO Holding and a pioneer in the kingdom of auto leasing, With the help of Infor Consulting Services and Amazon Web Services (AWS), recently finished implementing Infor CloudSuite Equipment and Infor People Solutions.

Another example of digital transformation is Zahid Tractor, a Saudi Arabia-based Zahid Group company that provides commercial vehicles and construction machinery, to streamline and get visibility in all its department deployed Infor M3 for Equipment in 2021.

Infor also works extensively with Saudi Bugshan, a conglomerate that comprises 47 companies.
