Schneider Electric aids Oman’s net-zero by 2050 with energy-saving solutions

Schneider Electric, the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, hosted an Innovation Day in Oman to showcase a wide range of products and solutions that contribute to achieving net-zero emissions.

Schneider Electric launched the Resi9 circuit breaker, which provides greater electrical protection for residential buildings, during a ceremony in Muscat that saw six panel builder partners recognised for their industry contribution.

During the event, Schneider Electric shared information about its rewards program, which provides support to panel builders to help them grow their businesses, increase profitability, and enhance their ability to meet the needs of their customers.

Ahmed Fateen, Schneider Electric’s Commercial Vice President for the UAE, Oman & Bahrain, delivered the opening speech and emphasized the company’s commitment to provide energy-saving solutions to partners and customers. He highlighted the company’s ambition to work in partnership with the business community to contribute to Oman goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

“We are on a mission to empower our partners to make the most of their energy and resources as we build a more electric, digital world together,” said Ahmed Fateen. “Schneider Electric’s Innovation Day in Oman was a great opportunity to recognise the businesses that continue to lead the way in their commitment to innovation and sustainability. As the Sultanate aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, this event provided a platform to share insights, best practices and innovative products with our network to fast-track their decarbonation journey.”
