Wipro and Nutanix Forge Deeper Alliance, Unveil New Nutanix Business Unit

Wipro Limited and Nutanix, Inc. have announced an expansion of their collaboration with the launch of a specialized Nutanix-focused business unit. This initiative aims to accelerate the digital and hybrid multicloud journeys of mutual clients while maximizing the value derived from Nutanix Cloud investments.

Combining Wipro’s FullStride Cloud expertise with Nutanix Cloud Platform, the new business unit will bolster joint solution engineering and broaden go-to-market strategies. This partnership is geared towards fostering agility, speed, and innovation for enterprises, enabling them to develop robust and flexible cloud operating models. It aligns with Wipro’s overarching growth strategy, emphasizing strategic partnerships and targeting the significant market opportunity across cloud infrastructure, IT applications, edge, and AI computing.

Tarkan Maner, Chief Commercial Officer at Nutanix, highlighted the necessity for enterprises to have a unified platform for securely and efficiently managing applications and data across diverse environments. Collaborating with Wipro, the aim is to empower enterprises with intelligent cloud capabilities, driving faster time to market, competitive advantage, and enhanced efficiency and security.

The newly formed business unit will cater to the escalating demand for hybrid multicloud solutions, modernized application platforms, AI computing, and edge modernization. Leveraging shared ecosystem partners, it will offer consulting, design, and engineering services to deliver cutting-edge solutions. These joint offerings, including AI-ready infrastructure solutions, will seamlessly integrate with Wipro’s ai360 ecosystem initiatives, fostering the development of collaborative solutions.

Jo Debecker, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Wipro FullStride Cloud, emphasized the role of joint solutions in enabling clients across various industries to deliver innovative experiences. The business unit is expected to drive transformative capabilities in hybrid multicloud while contributing to sustainability goals by reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint in data centers.

Wipro and Nutanix plan to extend digital transformation services across sectors such as banking, healthcare, and consumer retail. Leveraging Wipro’s pool of domain experts, including those from recent acquisitions like Capco and Designit, the focus will be on scaling technical competency in Nutanix solutions over the next two years, covering multicloud infrastructure, hyperconverged platforms, database services, AI computing, and end-user computing.
