Dubai Officials Assess Ambitious ‘Dubai 10X’ Initiatives

During the third phase of the Dubai 10X initiative, government bodies in Dubai came together to assess the advancement of projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors, optimizing transportation within the emirate, and promoting community well-being. This phase recently received approval from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of The Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation.

In a meeting hosted by the Dubai Future Foundation, representatives deliberated on strategies for implementing these projects through collaborative efforts among various stakeholders. They also discussed means to expedite project execution. Attendees included representatives from The Executive Council of Dubai, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, the Community Development Authority in Dubai, the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Police, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, Dubai Airports, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, the Dubai Future Foundation, as well as Emirates Airlines and Etisalat.

His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, remarked, “The Dubai 10X initiative translates the leadership’s vision into groundbreaking achievements, fostering collaboration among Dubai’s government entities in alignment with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation. This vision underscores the significance of enhancing government operations, improving efficiency, and positioning Dubai as a global leader.”

Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority, stated, “The vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for the future of the emirate has fostered innovative thinking and remarkable government performance. The Dubai 10X initiative contributes to Dubai’s journey towards becoming one of the world’s foremost, future-ready cities, particularly in terms of healthcare.”

Her Excellency Engineer Suzan Al Anani, CEO of Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, expressed, “The Dubai 10X initiative serves as a testament to our leadership’s belief in our exceptional capabilities. We are deeply appreciative of the steadfast support and guidance from our visionary leaders, who have played a pivotal role in turning seemingly impossible ideas into tangible realities, charting a course towards a future filled with new possibilities.”

His Excellency Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, commented, “The Dubai 10X initiative embodies the collaborative spirit among Dubai’s government entities and reflects the leadership’s commitment to fostering innovation. Launched in 2017, the Dubai 10X initiative has spearheaded numerous impactful projects in Dubai, enhancing government services and addressing various challenges. It has bolstered Dubai’s standing as a global leader in exporting innovative government models and methodologies, while facilitating the exchange of experiences, skills, and resources among government entities.
