Huawei Digital Power Middle East and Central Asia recently showcased its state-of-the-art solar innovations at FusionSolar Day Oman, held in Muscat. Teaming up with Value Added Partner Solis Depot, the event gathered Omani government officials, solar industry leaders, and energy experts to unveil Huawei’s latest solar products for both residential and commercial use.
Among the highlights for residential applications was the debut of SmartGuard, an intelligent device facilitating efficient on/off-grid switchover and load management. Also introduced was the LUNA2000 energy storage solution, boasting an expanded capacity of 7kWh per module alongside enhanced safety features. Completing the residential lineup were the SUN2000 series inverters, designed to support unbalanced loads and offer 100% off-grid capabilities.
For commercial clients, Huawei unveiled the SUN2000-150K-MG0 string inverter, dubbed the “Hexagon Warrior”, known for its impressive efficiency, long-term reliability, and rapid shutdown capability. Ideal for industries like iron and steel, transportation, textiles, and more, this 150kW inverter promises exceptional performance.
Additionally, Huawei presented its smart microgrid solution, an integrated system combining energy storage and PV with smart control features and proactive safety measures. This system aims to optimize the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) through reduced operating costs and increased energy yield.
